Harry
Rank began his involvement with NISOA in 1964. In
1973, he served as one of the
founding members of the Capital Area Chapter, in Pennsylvania
and has been an active chapter Officer and Assignor
since.
In
1976 Rank assisted in setting up the first NISOA
Referee Training Camp at Elizabethtown College in
Pennsylvania.
He received the NISOA Life Member Award in 2003.
Harry
Rank refereed 898 college games and officiated more
than 40 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic
Association championship games.
Among the many major college matches officiated
by Rank during his long career are 1968 and
1970 NCAA
Division
I tournament; the 1970 PSAC title game; the 1970
and 1971NCAA Atlantic Coast title games; the 1973
and 1974
NAIA District title games; the 1976 NCAA Division
III 1st and 2nd round playoffs; the 1978 NCCAA
Eastern and Regional playoffs; the 1980 NCCAA
District, Regional
and Semifinal matches; the 1990, 1996,1998 and
2000 Capital
Conference playoffs and the 1998 MAC Womens Semifinal. |
