John Burns
NISOA Hall of Fame - Class of 1964

Started his 23 year career as a Soccer Official in 1938. Elected president of the Pennsylvania District Soccer Referees’ Association in 1947. Served as Secretary of the PDSRA and Chair of the Referees’ Commission of the National Soccer Coaches Association in 1950. Conducted a series of Soccer Clinics through the Army Special Services for United States Armed Forces stationed in Europe in 1954.
