The
Beat: Ref gets
ultimate reward
John Buckley has traveled the nation
over the last 40 years, and the longtime soccer
referee has seen it all, from junior varsity
games to NCAA Final Fours.
Through it all, the Framingham native has had
one motto to help him keep his sanity - and
sense of humor.
"Calls are made by fools like me, but only God
can referee," says Buckley, giving his
take on the poem "Trees" by Joyce
Kilmer. more> |
