Pierce Richardson

Pierce Richardson began his involvement with NISOA in 1978 as a member of the GSIOA chapter.  In 1986, he became the chapter's secretary, a position he held until 2000.  Earning his NISOA National Referee badge in 1992, he has been active in the association's training program. He has been a National Clinician since 1997 and a Regional Assessor since 1998.  From 1998 to 2004, he served as a clinician for the Referee Training Camp program.  He also has helped coordinate the National Referee Program Camp since 2000 and has been the Region VI representative since 2001.  He has served on the NISOA Audit Committee since 20000.

For the past 16 years, Richardson also has served as an assignor for several conferences in the Southeast.  In 1991 and 1992, he officiated at the NAIA Women's National Finals and 1993 worked the NCAA Division III Southern Regional Final.  He officiated the 1994 and 1995 NAIA All-Star games and the 1996 UMBRO college all-star game.  He also was an official  at the 1996 and 1997 ACC Men's Tournament.
