Eddie Pearson Award - 1995

Started playing soccer at school in England and graduated to play in some of the top amateur leagues in the south east. Played for Gillingham and Chatham Town in the Kent League, Tilbury Town (London League), Maidenhead United (Athenian league), Barking (Isthmian League), Dartford (Metropolitan League), Hornchurch (Athenian League) and Thamesford of the Kent League. Moved with his family to Seattle, Washington in March 1966 to work for the Boeing Aircraft Company as an engineer. On arriving in the U.S. he began playing for the Buchan Bakers of the Washington State League and at the same time became involved in the Bellevue area where he lived.  He coached several teams, conducted coaching clinics and became involved in youth administration.  Later became a referee in the American and the North American Soccer Leagues and chairman of the USSF National Referee Committee. A former goalkeeper he served as president of the Washington State Association and vice president of the USSF.

Inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
