Rules
Home team is listed first; if colors clash, away team must change
All Round-Robin group matches are 60 minutes with 5-minute halves
All Quarter-final, Semi-final, & Final matches are 50 minutes with 5-minute
halves
Playoff games: Overtime = two x 5-minute halves followed by penalties
Penalties will be best of five. If tied after 5 kicks, then sudden death will
be taken
Tiebreakers - Points, Head-head, Goal Differential (max of 3 per game regardless
of score), Goals conceded, Goals Scored, Coin toss
Player
Eligibility - Over 40 Tournament
Each player must present a signed insurance
waiver prior to the first match
Each player must
present his photo ID prior to his first match;
must be born in 1968 or before
The player will receive a colored wristband, which
he needs to display for the duration of the tournament
Prior to each match, the official will check each
participating player for the wristband
Only players with wristbands will be allowed to
play in the matches
Players arriving on the 2nd day must provide ID
and be listed on the team roster prior to the first
match on the 1st day.
Playoff
Format - Over 40 Tournament
6 Groups of 3 teams (Groups A - F). Each teams plays 3 group games against another
group for
points
1
Group of 5 teams (Group G). Each teams plays 3 random
opponents in that group for points
Team #19 will play their 3rd match against a team already
eliminated that agrees to play a 4th game
Based
on points, the top 8 teams will advance to the Quarter-Finals,
seeded A thru H
There is no limit to the number of teams that can advance
from one group
In the Quarter-Finals only, teams cannot play against
group opponents
For the Semi-Finals, matches will be decided by playoff
seed. Teams can play against group opponents

Tournament
2 Groups of 3 teams (Groups H & J).
In a crossover format, each team plays the 3 teams in the other group for points
After 3 games, the top 2 teams in each group advance to the semi-finals (SF1
& SF2)
Semi-Final winners meet in final (Open Final)
