The Hamm Era: The Late 1990's


                      

Mia Hamm, who is probably the most influential women in professional sports history, led the United States Women's National Team to a gold medal at the '96 Olympics, and a World Cup title in 1999. Mia retired from the U.S. Women's National Team on December 8, 2004 and was inducted into the Hall in 2007.
