Star with
San Francisco State College 1948-1950. All-American Conference
team 1949-50. He began a long career with San Francisco
Vikings prior to World War II. After the war, helped to reform
the team, and played with them until 1955, winning the State
Cup in 1952-53 and 1953-54, and the San Francisco League title
in 1952-53. Also played one season (1950-51) with Hakoah,
receiving an Olympic tryout. Upon retirement from the field,
became president of the San Francisco Soccer Football League,
holding that post from 1955-1959, and was its Secretary until
1975. Feibusch coached the Vikings for many years starting in
1966, for both the Senior and various junior teams, while
simultaneously coaching at Lowell High School. Ran innumerable
coaching clinics throughout the Later served for a time as
Director of Coaching, and was a longtime District 1 Coaching
Coordinator. Also served as Commissioner for the San Francisco
Schools soccer officials, and as California Youth Soccer's
District 1 Referee Coordinator. Also served on numerous
committees for the NSCAA, USSF and NISOA. Feibusch was also a
prolific correspondent, writing for the Soccer News (New
York), National Soccer News of Chicago, the USSFA Guide &
Newsletter, and Scholastic Soccer. Founded the San Francisco
Junior Soccer League, the oldest in Northern California and
later, founded the SF/FLAME Youth Soccer League. Elected to
the California Soccer Football Association Hall of Fame in
1968. Received the George Sundquist Youth Soccer Achievement
Award in 1974.
